The Nap Life for Me

Do you like sleep? What about naps?

Sleep is one of my favourite things. Turning off and having a restful sleep is amazing.

I don’t always feel as rested as I’d like, that’s probably down to the length of sleep time.

That’s where naps come in.

For the longest time I’ve had naps. It stops me from being a terribly grumpy human and gives me energy. My family know this so if I say I’m having a nap no one bats an eyelid.

One thing that helps me with the nap life is I can fall asleep really fast.

I’ll say under a minute but it might be more like less than 30 seconds. This fact alone has pissed people off in my life. But it contributes to great naps.

The other thing is I don’t need much time. 20 mins is probably the most common for me. I might stretch it to 30 mins if I feel the need and in some instances to basically show off I’ll have a 12 minute nap and feel amazing after that.

A side effect to napping so often is I have a crazy accurate body clock. While I do set an alarm for almost all my naps. I could easily go to sleep and wake up at the time I wanted without the alarm. 95% of the time I will wake up 20-30 seconds before the alarm is set to go off.

It’s like a really crappy party trick that no one cares about.
