Diaryland V2

Somehow I found myself over at Diaryland. I see the website has been updated to be more modern.

It's been around since 1999, run by one person.

It's an important website to myself for many different reasons. My diary stopped working or died or something many years ago. Bear is the closest thing I've found to it.

I flicked Andrew an email to let him know about a broken image and if there is some way my old diary could be resurrected. I'm not holding out much hope, he also seems to march to the beat of his own drum so who knows if I will ever get a reply.

But if I did, and he could bring it back. It would unlock so many words and memories it would be amazing and horrifying all at once.

Until any of that happens I'll be writing here. Trying not to write for clout, upvotes or exposure. Remembering that writing for myself is the key thing, with the potential of someone else reading it as a special bonus.

I'm home alone this weekend. S has flown down to go to a concert with her mum, hopefully that goes well.

I haven't been alone alone for a long time.

One one hand it's OK. On the other hand I miss it. I miss the quiet, the open ended freedom it brings to do what I want when I want. Don't get me wrong, being with people is great. It would be nice to have a more balanced approach between the two states.
