All the Jobs Update
Time is moving too fast for my liking currently. Thought I only updated this the other day, turns out it's almost been 3 weeks.
I went along to my first shift at my new random part time job. There was 2 of us plus the boss person. We had to put down some carpet tiles, and install some barrier things. For a multi million dollar theater these 2 things were not well thought out or implemented very well.
My heart rate was through the roof while doing these tasks, and I couldn't stop sweating. Might have been the most I have ever sweated. Was crazy.
Back to my other job. I managed to interview some people, offered one the role and got a signed contract which is great. Tomorrow one of my team is going for a job interview.
Everyone tells me when they are. Which is nice.
Without going too deep into everything. This new role they have gone for is in a team my old bosses both moved to. The money is better, and that's the only reason anyone ever leaves our team.
I don't know how to explain this any better than I already have. My bosses understand. There never seems to be a solution. Just a rotation of people in and out.
My old immediate team leader is back on our floor, she sits about 4 desks away now. Different team. Good to bounce things off of her. I can see why she had a mental breakdown.
I wonder if I will have one.
While money is always the factor of people leaving. Money is the factor of why I am staying. Not sure what else I could do within the company, interesting roles do sometimes come up, but they pay so much less.
It's a weird situation. It appears it all depends on who the managers are and what amount they go with.
I'll try to update this more regularly with less work related talk.
